Job Title: MSW Academic Program Coordinator

VCU's School of Social Work is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Program Coordinator to support the MSW program. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the MSW Program Directors, manage program core functions, and coordinate course management.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage program core functions, including responding to student, faculty, and staff requests and issues, preparing purchase requests, supplies, and reimbursement, and maintaining program email account, event logistics, and calendar.
  • Coordinate course management, including creating, distributing, and organizing Community Embedded Faculty teaching requests and confirmations, managing course scheduling processes in Banner, and facilitating onboarding process for teaching faculty.
  • Support the Office of Student Success by setting up for events and assisting with MSW check-in for December and May graduations.
  • Collaborate with the MSW Program Director to review Registration Difficulty Forms and issue Overrides each semester.
  • Monitor the budget with the MSW Program Director and meet with the Finance office monthly to review the program budget.
