The SoC Emulation team is seeking a talented engineer to join our ranks, focusing on the development, deployment, and support of advanced emulation environments.

In this highly visible position, you will be central to a chip design initiative, collaborating across all disciplines, with a significant impact on delivering functional products to millions of customers efficiently.

Responsibilities:

As a team member, you will engage in:

  • SoC initialization on emulation, diagnosing failing SoC/Processor tests and emulator environment challenges
  • Supporting multiple emulation environments utilizing the latest emulation methodologies:
  • C/C++ DPI Transactors, SV assertions, Coverage, Power Estimation, SpeedBridges, Accelerated UVM Testbenches
  • Close collaboration with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams. Strong design, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills are essential
  • Partnering with leading emulation vendors to enhance capabilities and troubleshoot issues
Key Qualifications:

Candidates should possess emulation experience on available platforms, such as Palladium, Veloce, or Zebu, including compilation, debugging, performance, and throughput optimization.

Experience with Verilog, VHDL design, C/C++, and System Verilog, UVM verification environments is essential. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Makefile is also required. Familiarity with waveform debugging tools like Verdi/SimVision is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting are crucial.

Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience are required.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This structure allows for growth as you develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will be influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
