The SOC Emulation team is in search of a skilled engineer to enhance our team, focusing on the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced emulation environments.
In this highly significant role, you will be at the heart of a chip design initiative, working alongside various disciplines, with a crucial influence on delivering functional products to millions of customers promptly.
Key Responsibilities:As a member of the team, your involvement will include:
- SoC initialization on emulation, diagnosing failures in SoC/Processor tests and emulator environment challenges
- Supporting multiple emulation environments utilizing the latest emulation methodologies:
- C/C++ DPI Transactors, SV assertions, Coverage, Power Estimation, SpeedBridges, Accelerated UVM Testbenches
- Collaborating closely with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams. Strong design, debugging, communication, and teamwork abilities are essential
- Partnering with leading emulation vendors to enhance capabilities and troubleshoot issues
Experience in emulation across various platforms (Palladium, Protium, Veloce, or Zebu, EP), including design initialization, build flow, debugging, performance, and throughput optimization.
Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL design
Experience with C/C++, DPI, and System Verilog
Familiarity with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Makefile)
Experience with waveform debugging tools, Verdi/SimVision
Experience with UVM verification environments
Design verification, DFT, TestBench modeling experience
Knowledge of communication/interface protocols, such as (PCIE, USB), DDR, SPI
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyEducation & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows for growth as you advance and develop within your role.
The base pay range for this position is between $175,800 and $312,200, with your base pay dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
