Role Description: Envision yourself contributing to our processor design initiatives, collaborating with design teams, and offering technological support, significantly impacting the rapid delivery of functional products to millions of users.

In this prominent role, you will be central to resolving process technology challenges, enabling design for key analog, display, and PMIC products.

The primary emphasis of this position is on collaboration with internal design teams and semiconductor foundries. This is a hands-on, dynamic role that may require limited travel to foundries and development sites.

  • Oversee technical process collaboration with foundries.
  • Provide assistance for product development, tape-out, and debugging.
  • Collaborate closely with foundries on silicon process and product challenges.
  • Manage and assess foundry deliverables (PDK documentation, LVS, DRM/DRC, Spice models, and technical files) and drive enhancements with foundry.
  • Engage in technology development and device engineering for next-generation PMIC/analog process technologies.
  • Support new product introduction from design concept to production release. Key responsibilities include supporting activities, managing tape-outs, and troubleshooting silicon issues.
  • Evaluate device usage scenarios to ensure product reliability (safe operating area assessment).
  • Manage and mitigate technology risks across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Foster essential internal and external relationships with suppliers and within Apple.
Key Qualifications: We seek candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor process technology and manufacturing.

Direct experience in PMIC or analog technology development programs is preferred. *Extensive knowledge of CMOS and BCDMOS technologies, particularly in Analog design, is essential.

Experience in leading engineering teams is advantageous. Experience supporting designs with significant digital components is preferred.
Experience with PDKs and associated collateral, such as Spice models, DRM/DRC, LVS, and RC tech files, is crucial.
Experience collaborating positively with design teams (analog, power & digital) is a key requirement.
Experience in process qualification and yield enhancement is a plus.
Familiarity with reliability mechanisms and device safe operating areas is beneficial.
Strong data analysis, problem-solving skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities are required.
Self-motivation and practical execution of tasks are vital.

Travel may be required up to 10% for this role.Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience are required.Compensation & Benefits: At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a specified range.

This allows for progression as you grow and develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $175,800 and $312,200, with your base pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if they voluntarily participate in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
