Job Overview

Established in 2012, Symmetrio has played a pivotal role in assisting our clients in identifying and securing exceptional talent across various sectors, including information technology, healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, engineering, manufacturing, hospitality, government, and beyond. As we expand, we require a Finance and Operations Supervisor to uphold our exemplary service standards.

This is a hybrid part-time role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systematically record business transactions such as sales, payroll, and bills.
  • Administer and enhance QuickBooks Online (QBO) functionalities.
  • Generate and issue invoices for services rendered by Symmetrio.
  • Oversee the complete onboarding process for internal employees and subcontractors, including background checks, payroll setup, healthcare benefits, and the provision of onboarding documentation.
  • Process payroll for employees and subcontractors utilizing ADP.
  • Manage 401k contributions effectively.
  • Collaborate with insurance vendor partners.
  • Work in conjunction with Health Benefits administration partners.
  • Issue purchase orders to subcontractors and vendors.
  • Partner with accounting firms for tax returns, audits, and financial performance evaluations.
  • Administer and reconcile accounts with local, state, and federal taxing authorities.
  • Prepare and issue 1099 forms at the end of the fiscal year.
  • Reconcile bank statements accurately.
  • Finalize financial records for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting periods.
  • Manage relationships with banking partners.
  • Oversee Banking Line of Credits.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Experienced in using ADP for payroll processing and administration.
  • Familiar with Financial Statements and Accounting best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Experience in a consulting services environment is preferred.
  • Able to collaborate with accounting firms for tax return preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Motivated to develop and document process and workflow documentation.
