Job Summary

The Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration is a key member of the Chancellor's executive leadership team, responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the functions of finance, bursar, administrative services, and auxiliary services for the Fort Wayne Service Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs and provides financial oversight of campus financial operations, including fiscal planning, budget development and control, financial accounting, cash management, and accounts receivable.
  • Directs all financial and accounting activities of the campus in accordance with guidelines set forth by the College's Chief Financial Officer and Finance Policy.
  • Plans, prepares, and administers annual operating budget, including miscellaneous revenue, personnel salaries and fringe benefits, supplies and expenses, travel, utilities, lease, and capital budgets.
  • Ensures adherence to all College budget, financial, and procurement policies and guidelines, as well as applicable State statutes related to Public Works and Capital projects.
  • Provides campus financial analysis, reporting, and interpretation, and maintains necessary budgetary controls.
  • Ensures integrity of all financial, accounts receivable, and fixed asset information for the campuses.
  • Oversees procurement processes at the campus level in accordance with the College procurement policies.
  • Works collaboratively with campus development staff on grant budgeting, grant accounting, and strategic utilization of campus foundation resources.
  • Manages and coordinates special projects as assigned by the Chancellor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 7+ years related experience.
  • Three years supervisory experience.
Preferred Requirements
  • Master's degree.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in higher education at an accredited institution.
