About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Account Representative at Mariner Finance. As a key member of our branch operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales and collections efforts of our branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Proactively solve problems, present loan solutions based on customer needs, and enthusiastically present all available sales products.
  • Process Credit Loan Applications: Analyze credit & financial information for current and potential customers.
  • Delinquency Resolution: Proactively contact customers with past due balances to offer possible solutions and resolve delinquency.
  • Meet Sales and Collections Goals: Achieve consistent results by meeting or exceeding expected individual and branch goals related to the sale of company products and services.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Learn Federal, State, and Local Application Consumer laws to ensure compliant actions.
  • Cash Handling and Deposits: Maintain a cash drawer, including processing payments and delivering daily deposits to specified financial institutions as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of One Year of Experience: In a customer service or sales position.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Reliable Transportation required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Ability to learn financial services programs.
  • Problem-Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to complete essential duties/functions in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must obtain applicable, required licenses to sell insurance products offered to customers by the branch.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cash Handling, Selling, and/or Collecting Experience.
  • Some College Coursework.
  • Bilingual Fluency in Spanish/English.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; operate computer and phone systems; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee is required to be physically present in the office. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
