Help Desk Specialist

Hartwig Staffing is partnering with a local client to fill a Help Desk Analyst position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for users' software and hardware needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support and diagnostics for users' software and hardware needs.
- Configure, install and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot desktop and network issues via phone and on-site support.
- Assist with equipment repair and rollouts of software/hardware.
- Develop, implement, and maintain technical documentation for the department.
- Collaborate with IS staff members to resolve issues.
- Perform On-call duties on a regular rotation.
- Communicate with end users, IS Department Staff, and vendors for troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of helpdesk technical support experience and Windows troubleshooting experience.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work well in a team or individually.
- Good understanding of A+.
- Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with server 2016/2019 in an Active Directory environment.
