Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Field Sales Consultant for our client, a leading distributor of natural and engineered stone products. This organization is experiencing significant growth and is eager to enhance their sales team with talented professionals who can contribute to both immediate and long-term success.

The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and have a solid background in selling stone slabs to various clients, including fabrication shops, distributors, large-scale home builders, and designers. Our client prides itself on transparency and integrity in business practices, and they are looking for representatives who share these values. This position requires an experienced sales professional; therefore, we will not consider entry-level candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

As a seasoned professional in the industry, you will be familiar with the core responsibilities of this role. However, the primary duties include:

  • Conducting in-person business development, managing accounts, and expanding client relationships within your designated territory.
  • This position will not start from scratch; you will take over an existing client base.
  • Promoting and selling stone slabs (such as quartz, quartzite, granite, etc.) to stone fabricators and other suppliers.
  • Identifying and reaching out to stone fabricators in your area to generate new business opportunities.
  • Completing typical administrative tasks associated with the role.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of B2B outside sales experience in the stone industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with stone distributors and selling to stone fabricators is essential.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time to meet with new and existing clients, primarily within driving distance.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

Compensation Package:

  • Expected total compensation ranges from $85,000 to $90,000.
  • Base salary is set at $60,000.
  • Commission structure allows for an additional $20,000 to $30,000+ paid monthly.
  • Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, and a 401K plan (coming soon), along with a choice of a Car Allowance or Company Car.
