As a District Manager at Five Guys, you will lead your teams to success by utilizing your knowledge in all areas of restaurant operations, being a positive hands-on coach and teacher, and effectively communicating why we maintain such high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining Brand Standards
- Demonstrate and provide in-depth operational knowledge and coaching of Five Guys Restaurant Operations to your district teams.
- A hands-on coach inspiring and developing teams and managers towards improvement and operational excellence.
- Analyze data, Key Performance Indicators, and identify trends to provide effective solutions and action plans to achieve company goals.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and timely communications and recognition for great results.
- Support and champion the Five Guys culture by living our Core Convictions.
- People Relations
- Enjoys working shoulder to shoulder with managers and crew, especially during peak times, to lead by example and build trusting and effective working relationships.
- Recognize and celebrate successes.
- Helps General Managers identify talent within our teams and create effective development plans. Tracks development and assists managers in developing a bench of talent and proper staffing levels.
- Teach and manage the behaviors that insure optimal results in customer feedback, food quality, health inspections, and engaged employees.
- 3+ years related experience in a multi-unit leadership role with similar responsibilities.
- Restaurant operations expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership skills that result in strong teams, increased customer traffic counts, and excellent financial results.
- Influential communication skills with exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to connect and build relationships and maintain partnerships with all levels.
- Must demonstrate planning, resourcefulness, and initiative in dealing with daily opportunities.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office.
- 4-year college degree a plus.
