Salesforce Solutions Developer

Foundation Risk Partners is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to enhance our Corporate Synergies team.
The Salesforce Developer acts as a critical link between IT, Operations, and business units to assess both standard and unique business requirements, document specifications, and troubleshoot intricate system challenges. This role demands a high level of technical expertise in application development, collaborating closely with business personnel, IT teams, and other stakeholders to scrutinize all facets of project needs and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a pivotal influence in decision-making processes, significantly impacting project success and departmental objectives.
- Exhibit exceptional communication and business insight to mediate and advocate for technical matters.
- Maintain an up-to-date code repository in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the planning, testing, and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
- Ensure that system enhancements adhere to IT protocols, fulfill user expectations, and are delivered promptly.
- Collaborate with internal and external development resources to guarantee that deliverables meet specifications.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of business operations, products, and processes.
- Participate in a highly visible team to design and enhance the next generation of the company’s platforms and services.
- Engage in hands-on work across a mixed environment, supporting existing applications while also designing and implementing new features.
- Provide analytical support for user-reported issues to identify suitable resolution strategies and troubleshoot production system problems.
- Collaborate with business units and analysts to develop applications in accordance with project timelines.
- Work within a team framework to ensure adherence to best practices at all times.
- Conduct thorough testing to verify that development aligns with functional design specifications.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 5 years of development and integration experience with enterprise business and CRM applications.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development using Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and Omniscripts.
- Experience with the .NET Framework (VB.NET, C#), with recent work on at least .NET 3.5 Framework.
- Extensive SQL knowledge, including the creation and execution of stored procedures, database transactions, and schema design in an enterprise-level data warehouse.
- Experience in designing applications using object-oriented concepts, patterns, and methodologies, along with a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with API integration applications, including Tibco Cloud, and API specifications such as Swagger and Open API.
- Knowledge of HTML, DTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax.
- Experience with COM, XML, XSL, SOAP, SOA, REST, and/or Web Services.
- Experience deploying Salesforce changes using Gearset.
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports XIII.
- Experience with IIS 10.
- Knowledge of SharePoint, particularly in site administration.
- Experience with Visual Source Safe or other enterprise-wide repositories.
- A proven ability to plan, prioritize, estimate, and deliver tasks and projects punctually.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience in the insurance or employee benefits sector.
