Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at US Foods. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving new business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any order process problems.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable, working with the credit department and clients.
  • Develop new business and identify prospective customers by utilizing market intelligence databases.
  • Share market conditions and competitor information with customers.
  • Drive to customers to ensure product delivery.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Team player mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills; Experience using Customer relationship management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).
Work Environment

Frequently outside the office environment working in the field visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions.

Education and Certifications

HS Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses and Physical Qualifications

Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing.

Must be able to perform various physical activities for described length of time, including standing, walking, driving, sitting, lifting, carrying, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
