Job Overview

Position Summary

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the technical support team. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that the team remains focused and efficient while achieving both short-term and long-term objectives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Technical Support Manager to strategize daily tasks aimed at meeting operational goals.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of standardized processes.
  • Oversee the inventory management system, ensuring accurate tracking of all products.
  • Review and refine draft listings prior to submission for approval.
  • Identify and prioritize items for potential sales from the inventory.
  • Motivate and organize team members to maintain productivity.
  • Provide training on product testing and photography standards.
  • Conduct product testing and ensure quality photography.
  • Achieve sales performance indicators.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage various e-commerce platforms, including customer service, promotional sales, inventory oversight, and financial reporting.
  • Evaluate, price, and publish product listings.
  • Supervise the Technical Support Associates.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of consumer and enterprise-level IT hardware.
  • Proficient in computer and internet use, particularly in a Windows environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities within the surplus market to meet sales goals.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting.
