Job Overview

As a Logistics Coordinator for Entertainment Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing the inventory and supplies for the Entertainment Department. Your expertise will support the Entertainment Warehouse Manager and Supervisor in executing essential tasks such as processing pick-orders, receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels. You will ensure that quality control standards are upheld through regular audits and the effective use of our inventory management system. Proficient operation of a forklift will be required to safely handle and organize inventory within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistical Support: Work collaboratively with Entertainment Supervisors to facilitate Carnival Entertainment projects, ensuring efficient communication and utilization of systems to meet operational demands. Assist the Entertainment Warehouse Manager in managing pick-orders and overseeing the receipt of supplies. Conduct physical inventories to monitor stock levels and maintain accurate records.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage the flow of goods by accurately entering data into the inventory management system and ensuring proper storage of items. Track incoming pick orders and reconcile system records to reflect actual stock levels post-shipment. Operate a forklift as necessary to enhance the efficiency of inventory management.
  • Task Management: Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to prioritize and execute tasks effectively within set deadlines. Adhere to established guidelines and safety protocols while utilizing knowledge of logistics processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Engagement: Foster a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with team members and supporting a positive workplace culture.
  • Maintenance and Reporting: Ensure accurate maintenance of inventory records and documentation related to logistical activities. Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and report any issues to management. Provide updates to Supervisors and Project Managers regarding task progress and operational challenges.
  • Warehouse Organization: Collaborate with the warehouse team to coordinate the movement of goods for special projects. Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout, adapting to changing inventory needs.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate's Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Experience operating a stand-up forklift is essential.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in inventory management software and technology.
  • Strong understanding of Import-Export logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Physical Requirements: Regular movement within the warehouse is necessary, including the ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment: This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying climate conditions.
