Benefits Administrator

As a Benefits Coordinator at Turning Stone Enterprises, you will play a vital role in ensuring our team members have access to comprehensive benefits that support their well-being and career growth. This position requires a strong understanding of benefit plans and relevant laws, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer team member benefit programs, including group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
- Provide team members with clear explanations of benefits, ensuring they understand available benefits, eligibility, and enrollment procedures.
- Conduct benefit orientations, enrollment meetings, and information sessions, and be available to answer team member questions throughout the employment cycle.
- Maintain accurate and timely processing of eligibility, enrollments, and cancellations of all benefit plans in appropriate systems.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory and legal standards, ensuring compliance with ERISA, FMLA, ACA, ADA, HIPAA privacy laws, and NYS Disability and PFL guidelines.
- Strong understanding of team member benefit plans and relevant laws.
- Experience with situational application of benefit plan documents and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and produce accurate work, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- At least 2 years of previous work experience in human resources office responsible for benefit administration.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field with HR courses.
- Experience with UKG/UltiPro.
