Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Circle Logistics, Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building and leading a new branch location, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to improve services and meet customer and carrier needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Operations & Team Management:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to support both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure efficient operations align with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Implement best practices in logistics operations to improve processes and productivity.
  • Mentor and develop team members to drive continued success and growth.

Financial Performance & Growth:

  • Drive financial performance by increasing gross profit margins and revenue.
  • Monitor financial metrics and make adjustments to meet targets.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.

Carrier Network & Relationship Management:

  • Leverage our extensive carrier network to ensure capacity and competitive pricing.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with carriers to benefit both the branch and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in freight brokerage, including moving loads, or a solid track record in business development and revenue growth.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple clients and teams.
  • Leadership experience in scaling and managing a workforce.
  • Extensive carrier network and strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Great communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
