Job Summary

Northern Light Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Service Representative - Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Access department, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and progression of Patient Access related projects, providing guidance and direction to support staff, and serving as an internal subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and progression of Patient Access related projects, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.
  • Provide guidance and direction to support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert, providing financial healthcare acuity and supporting Patient Access initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Leaders and other departments to achieve successful outcomes, coordinating communication, preparing presentations, and facilitating meetings.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, organizational development, data gathering, analytics, and research initiatives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with Leaders, clinical partners, and practice staff, promoting a culture of diversity, inclusion, empowerment, and cooperation.
  • Behaves with integrity, builds trust, cultivates respect, fosters accountability, and practices compassion.
Working Conditions
  • Need to drive to perform responsible duties.
  • Lifting, moving, and loading less than 20 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
