Job Title: Patient Service Representative - LifeVest Trainer

ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a Patient Service Representative as an independent contract worker to train patients on the use of the LifeVest wearable defibrillator.

Job Summary:

The LifeVest wearable defibrillator is worn by patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), providing protection during their changing condition. It is lightweight and easy to wear, allowing patients to return to their common activities of daily living, while having the peace of mind that they are protected from SCA.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Equipment and Garment Inventory: Ensure that all necessary equipment and garments are available and in good working condition.
  • Contact Caregivers and Family: Schedule fittings and follow-up visits with patients and their caregivers.
  • Conduct Evening and Weekend Activities: Be available to conduct fittings and follow-up visits during evening and weekend hours.
  • Travel to Patient Homes: Willing to travel to patients' homes for fittings or follow-up visits.
  • Disclose Family Relationship: Disclose any family relationship with potential referral sources.
  • Program Equipment: Program equipment according to the prescribing physician's orders.
  • Measure Patient and Determine Correct Garment Size: Measure the patient and determine the correct garment size.
  • Train Patients and Caregivers: Train patients and their caregivers in the use of the LifeVest.
  • Have Patient Sign Agreement: Have the patient sign a Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist.
  • Fax Signed Agreement: Fax the signed copy of the Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist to ZOLL within 24 hours of the assignment.
Qualifications:
  • 1 Year Patient Care Experience: Have at least 1 year of patient care experience, which must be professional (not family caregiver).
  • Documented Patient Experience: Patient experience must be documented on the resume.
  • Personal NPI Number: Disclose personal NPI number (if applicable).
  • Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance: Have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
  • Additional Training and Credentials: Willing to pay for additional training and vendor credentials (i.e. DME/RepTrax), fees not paid by ZOLL.
