Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and assign facility projects for quality and timely completion, ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Lead and train associates on preferred work methods (PMWs) and ensure a culture of safety that promotes injury-free work environments.
  • Perform management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews, and terminations, maintaining associate relations through regular meetings and open communication.
  • Develop business relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring efficient operations and communication, and maintaining current certificates of insurance and hold harmless agreements.
  • Prepare budget, profit plans, and capital requests, suggesting efficiency ideas and cost reduction measures to increase facility efficiency.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, conducting audits to ensure accurate inspections and documentation.
  • Coordinate efforts with the Safety department to aid in training, associate observations, and routine safety inspections, and develop and maintain liaisons with local emergency management and other entities to support a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance management experience.
  • Working knowledge of ammonia and Freon systems, environmental regulations, and governing bodies.
  • Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain co-worker relationships.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate, licenses, and registrations in refrigeration/HVAC.
  • Level 1 Ammonia Operation Certification.
  • Powered Industrial Equipment Certification.
  • Certificate in fleet trade/mechanic.
Work Environment

This role will require spending a portion of time in an office working on a computer and time spent inside and outside the distribution center in various climates.

Compensation

Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $79,300 and $132,100. This role is also eligible for incentive pay and benefits, including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
