Part-time Hourly Position with a pay range of $10.50-$11.50 DOE, including benefits. Based in Albuquerque, NM, operating from our Hotel Albuquerque.

Position Overview: Under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, the Food Runner will ensure the efficient delivery of meals from the kitchen to the dining areas, while providing assistance to the team as required. Responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders, and clearing used dishes and utensils. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality sector and learn how to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Candidates should be available for various shifts, including weekends. Ultimately, your role will be crucial in ensuring our guests enjoy a high-quality dining experience through timely and accurate food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with colleagues and guests.
  • Adhere to nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards consistently.
  • Ensure cleanliness and professional presentation of the dining area.
  • Support table settings by delivering courses, replenishing utensils, and being attentive to beverage needs.

Requirements:
  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification is mandatory.
  • Ability to stand in a humid kitchen environment for extended periods.
  • Must frequently lift, push, reach for, and carry over 30 pounds.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience; experience in high-volume or fine dining settings is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
