Role Description:Step into a role that transcends typical poolside jobs and become part of a team that curates exceptional, personalized hotel experiences in New Mexico. As a Pool Server, you will deliver expertly crafted cocktails and delectable dishes with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring timely and high-quality service for our guests. This position is vital in supporting the Front of House team to create memorable poolside moments.
Key Responsibilities:- Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor with both colleagues and guests.
- Welcome and greet guests in the pool area.
- Verify identification to confirm age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Record, process, and serve food and beverage orders from guests.
- Deliver food and drinks between the bar and pool area.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area.
- Assist guests with their needs while at the pool.
- Regularly patrol the area to clear glasses and empty trash bins.
- Set up and dismantle poolside areas daily.
- Manage waste disposal and identify areas requiring immediate attention.
- Ensure pool supplies and linens are stocked to meet inventory standards.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor to prioritize tasks and provide support as needed.
- Part-time staff receive: Dental, Vision, and 401k benefits.
- Full-time staff receive: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Accident Coverage, Critical Illness Insurance, and 401k benefits.
- Must possess a valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, reaching, and carrying over 30 pounds regularly.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Preferred experience of 6 months to 1 year in high-volume or fine dining settings.
