Position Type: Full-time Hourly Role starting at $13.00 DOE with benefits.
Location: Albuquerque, NM.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
- Engage in daily communication with restaurant leadership regarding tasks and timelines.
- Uphold a positive and professional demeanor with colleagues and patrons.
- Adhere to nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety protocols consistently.
- Respond to menu inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Familiarity with preparing various coffee beverages is beneficial (Barista experience preferred but not mandatory).
- Verify identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol service.
- Effectively communicate the concept and culinary vision of the café to guests.
- Process payments and manage cash handling according to established procedures; prepare tip reporting documentation accurately and punctually.
- Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the responsibilities of this role.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and positivity in interactions with coworkers and guests.
- Consistently comply with health and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional service with enthusiasm and attention to detail.
- Answer menu-related questions and provide thoughtful recommendations to guests.
- Part-time employees are eligible for: Dental, Vision, and 401k plans.
- Full-time employees receive: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Accident Coverage, Critical Illness Insurance, and 401k plans.
- Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification are required.
- Ability to work in a humid kitchen environment for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting, pushing, reaching for, and carrying over 15 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable with learning and using point of sale systems.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in high-volume or fine dining settings is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
