Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at American Capital Group. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with administrative tasks, including filing documents, preparing interview packets, and coordinating interviews with candidates.
  • Source candidates via job search engines and recruiting platforms, and conduct virtual interviews for assigned requisitions.
  • Prepare and maintain personnel files, including medical and confidential documents.
  • Administer FMLA paperwork and track leaves, as well as manage Worker's Compensation claims and track.
  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews with current and departing employees, and track and report on HR metrics, including turnover, time to fill, and cost to fill.
  • Develop and implement training programs and development opportunities for employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Human Resources position.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
