Position Overview
In this role, you will operate in the field, reporting directly to the Property Claim Manager, and manage homeowner property claims within a designated area. A company vehicle will be provided for your use, which may also be utilized for personal errands.

Work Environment
This position is primarily home-based, allowing you to spend approximately 80% of your time working remotely or in the field. Occasionally, you may be required to attend in-person meetings, training sessions, or team-building events at an office location.

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is between $55,000 and $90,000 annually, with salary type compensation. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate the origin and cause of claims by engaging with relevant parties, including insured individuals, claimants, agents, and legal representatives.
- Identify complex issues and seek assistance when necessary, ensuring claims are handled in good faith.
- Manage both first-party and third-party claims across various policy types and endorsements.
- Conduct on-site assessments as required, evaluate damages, and negotiate claims with involved parties.
- Address customer inquiries, make informed decisions, and close claims files as appropriate.
- Interpret and apply policy details, leases, and contracts to assigned losses.
- Provide proactive updates on the claims process and status to all parties involved.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering customer-focused solutions and support.
- Experience in handling multi-line claims, including both first-party and third-party claims.
- Solid understanding of casualty coverage policies and the claims handling process.

Licensing Requirements
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
- Obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as mandated.

Travel and Physical Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, with potential catastrophe duty up to 75% as needed.
- Ability to navigate various environments, including potentially hazardous locations, and perform physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds.

Additional Information
- Familiarity with Xactimate is preferred.
