OVERVIEW

Investigates insurance claim rejections, assesses the legitimacy of the claims, and when applicable, is accountable for modifying and resubmitting the claims through various channels.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Examines claim denials, analyzes and reprocesses as needed to ensure optimal payment accuracy and minimize accounts receivable days.
  • Engages with the Business Office or clinical personnel regarding coverage issues and denials, as necessary.
  • Maintains aged accounts receivable to be less than 120 days.
  • Upholds a strong commitment to integrity and precision in claims processing.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Preferred one year of experience in insurance billing and claims analysis.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a focus on business-related subjects.
  • Proficient in ten-key, computer/data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Dedication to the mission of Oklahoma Mental Health Council dba Red Rock Behavioral Health Services.
