Job SummaryYoh, a leading staffing firm, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Tustin, CA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products, adhering to FDA regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and train Quality Assurance Inspectors, including performance reviews, professional development, and setting objectives.
    • Develop a cross-functional QA team and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Oversee line clearances, critical control points, and quality assurance parameters during the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and company policies.
    • Ensure Good Documentation Practices are followed by staff, resulting in complete and correct forms, reports, and batch records.
    • Review batch records for next release points and reconciliation.
    • Assist Quality Management in preparing periodic management reviews and ensure follow-up on recommended corrective actions.
    • Support a safe, clean, and secure working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations, and participating in plant safety committees.
    • Collaborate with Operations and Operations staff to improve and sustain manufacturing processes.
    • Support the Material Review Board and drive staff to report and close non-conformance reports in the Quality Management System.
    • Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency, while meeting customer requirements and company goals.
    • Contribute to a team effort by performing according to company policies, cGDP, cGMP, lean principles, and other guidelines, and supporting higher-level management decisions.
    • Assist with quality and safety audits of facilities to ensure cGMP and cGMP standards are maintained, and project integrity is preserved.
    • Act as a liaison for customers with various company departments regarding quality issues, as needed.
    • Assist with FDA inspections and represent the department as a core or consultant member on appointment project teams.
    • Other responsibilities and tasks assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
    • Experience in Quality Management or a supervisor role in a manufacturing environment is required.
    • Experience in network-based systems, Quality Management Systems Software (QMS), and QAD is preferred.
    • Ensure timely review and completion of activities to meet compliance and business targets.
    • Detail-oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to read documents, such as standard operating procedures.
    • Formal training in FDA regulations or ASQ is preferred.
    • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in food science, manufacturing, or a related field. Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience in a supervisor role.
    • 5+ years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Estimated Min Rate: $49,000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $70,000.00
