The Quality Assurance Technician position is open with a company specializing in the production of military and defense equipment, including various components and systems. This role entails the operation and upkeep of testing apparatus, executing testing protocols, analyzing and interpreting test results, diagnosing problems, and ensuring a tidy and systematic workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting tests and evaluations to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintaining and calibrating testing instruments and equipment.
- Documenting test results and providing detailed reports on findings.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the testing process.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in the use of electronic testing tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and documentation practices.
- Strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience with military specifications and standards is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills at the component level.
- Relevant certifications in electronics testing are a plus.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
This position requires full-time on-site presence.
