About the Role

Avid Bioservices is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Director to lead our biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and compliance of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the GMP Manufacturing Operations, including Upstream, Downstream, Formulations, Support, and Scheduling functions.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products by maintaining cGMP standards and implementing quality control measures.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment and drive business results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline from a four-year college or university, or Master's/Doctorate in a science or engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in a GMP facility manufacturing pharmaceuticals, preferably biologics, with 7-15 years of leadership experience.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
