At Ethos Veterinary Health, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional veterinary care through a collaborative approach. Our facility offers a comprehensive range of services, including advanced diagnostics and treatments in various specialties such as neurology, internal medicine, and emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master the intricacies of neurological anatomy and function.
- Administer high-quality anesthetic induction, monitoring, and maintenance during surgical and imaging procedures.
- Accurately calculate medication and fluid dosages for hospitalized patients.
- Assist in complex surgeries and advanced imaging techniques.
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placements, and urinary catheter placements.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations on canine and feline patients.
- Document and report changes in patient behavior and condition.
- Gather patient histories and assist during neurologic consultations.
- Collaborate effectively with the Neurologist to enhance patient care.
- Engage in client education to promote understanding of neurological conditions.
- Utilize practice management software to maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Contribute to the rehabilitation of paralyzed patients.
- Execute procedures that do not require veterinarian assistance.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $26 to $40, with additional shift differentials and a sign-on bonus for new full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), though not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a specialty veterinary setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficient in performing mathematical calculations relevant to veterinary care.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time, with a 4/10 schedule.
