Key Responsibilities- Client Interaction: Welcome and assist clients, providing a positive and helpful experience.
- Appointment Management: Schedule appointments, coordinate procedures, and manage the clinic's calendar.
- Communication: Respond to client inquiries, provide information about services, and ensure seamless communication with our veterinary team.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Check-In/Out: Process client paperwork, verify information, and handle payments during visits.
- Billing: Calculate fees, process payments, and assist with invoicing as needed.
- Client Education: Offer pet care information and answer general questions to promote a deeper understanding of our services.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is organized and comfortable for clients and pets.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations and provide exceptional care.
- Emergency Response: Handle emergencies calmly, directing clients appropriately and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Problem Solving: Address client concerns and conflicts, escalating when necessary to ensure a positive outcome.
- High School Diploma: Required.
- 1+ Years of Customer Service Experience: Strongly preferred, with experience in a veterinary hospital or similar environment.
- 1+ Years of Hospitality Experience: Creating a friendly and receptive environment for clients.
- Competent Computer Skills: Reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical records.
- Effective Working Knowledge of MS-Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Type 45+ WPM and Use 10-Key Calculator: Required.
- Compensation Range: $22.00 - $26.00 hourly.
