Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Field Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for self-generating sales leads and presenting in-home presentations on our solar products and services to potential customers. Your primary goal will be to establish genuine connections with potential customers, qualifying and vetting solar as a viable energy solution for their homes and families.

Responsibilities
  • Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads, and appointments with potential customers.
  • Provide an exceptional customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on.
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers, evaluating their knowledge and needs, and building productive, long-lasting relationships.
  • Manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
  • Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills needed to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs.
  • Willingness to spend time traveling within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model.
  • Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications (experience with a CRM is a plus).
