Deliver Innovative Surgical Technologies

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Surgical Technologies: Collaborate with hospitals and surgery centers to provide innovative surgical technologies for scheduled procedures.
  • Operate Medical Devices: Safely operate surgical lasers and other medical devices, providing technical guidance to surgeons and staff prior to and during surgery.
  • Pre-Operative Checklists: Perform pre-operative checklists, sterilization, laser calibrations, and complete required paperwork to ensure a smooth surgical process.
  • Medical Equipment Inventories: Conduct regular medical equipment inventories to ensure our technologies are up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a team-oriented working relationship with ForTec employees and client employees to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Medical Experience: Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule with some early mornings or occasional evening cases; occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, or manipulate over 50 pounds of medical equipment.
  • Professional Demeanor: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
