Clinical Laboratory Specialist

The Clinical Laboratory Specialist will independently perform, interpret, validate, and correlate tests as ordered by physicians by following the approved departmental procedures and in accordance with all regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently perform, interpret, validate, and correlate tests as ordered by physicians
Follow approved departmental procedures and regulatory agencies
Determine if test results meet quality control program requirements and repeat tests as necessary
Utilize complex problem-solving skills to resolve clinical and instrument problems
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or a related science field
Certified or eligible for certification in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies
Membership in a professional organization is highly desirable but not mandatory
