Your Contribution: We are looking for a dedicated Project Management Engineer to enhance our team in a dynamic, commercially driven product development setting focused on antennas and control systems. In this pivotal role, you will manage and execute Internal Research and Development (IRAD) initiatives along with other designated projects. You will serve as the essential liaison among Program Managers, Operations, Product Line Managers, and Engineering, leveraging your technical knowledge and assertiveness to effectively manage costs, scope, schedules, risks, and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination and execution of intricate commercial development projects related to Electromechanical Systems, including hardware, software, and mechanical elements.
  • Plan, track, and ensure the timely completion of engineering tasks, maintaining robust organizational oversight to achieve project milestones.
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration, fostering agreement among diverse teams.
  • Conduct regular engineering status assessments and present insights during program evaluations.
  • Implement necessary corrective measures to uphold project integrity.
  • Manage the Engineering timeline, effectively communicating technical performance and related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Project Management, ideally within electronics or mechanical product development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering, technical leadership, or similar roles.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in engineering and technical management methodologies and principles.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards, processes, and product development life cycles (e.g., Waterfall and/or Agile).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Proficient in MS Project and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Previous experience in IRAD or New Product Introduction (NPI) development is advantageous.
  • Proven success in program execution within cross-functional settings.
  • Prior experience in a commercial product development environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Telecom, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards ERP System.
