Overview

We are seeking a results-oriented project manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing projects that are primarily focused on line of business products, processes, or functions, while also considering potential cross-functional or inter-departmental impacts. The project manager will act as a secondary liaison to senior department leaders for critical change initiatives and will provide support to team members.

The project manager will collaborate with the business to formulate and implement transition plans, including ongoing success metrics to ensure the sustainability of changes. This role is accountable for initiatives that are limited in scope to departmental products, processes, or functions, while also having some cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. The project manager will analyze the current state, propose alternative future-state strategies, and facilitate their implementation.

Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling projects using suitable tools and methodologies to guarantee efficient and effective project completion. The project manager will develop and communicate potential risk mitigation strategies and maintain effective communication with managers, peers, and business partners regarding deliverables, timelines, and required support.

Additionally, the project manager will be responsible for updating project documents and PCM updates. Strong project management skills are essential, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will provide change management support by developing and maintaining reporting for Change Management Dashboards, as well as weekly and monthly status reports to support release readiness. The candidate should be an outgoing communicator, capable of facilitating and leading meetings with both senior leaders and non-leadership personnel. Attention to detail and the ability to quickly acquire new skills are crucial.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills

Essential Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Extensive experience with mainframe, microservices, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Proven track record as a strong PM/Delivery Lead with significant experience in managing large technology projects. Familiarity with the complete project lifecycle, particularly SDLC projects, is required.
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with enterprise change management (Permits, Tollgate, Remedy) and strong governance.
  • Proficiency in Scaled Agile and JIRA
  • Experience in conducting meetings, budgeting, and managing project financials
  • Experience in Wealth Management or trading systems, particularly in managing such projects for enterprise-level clients, is essential.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively with a positive demeanor.
  • Ability to present confidently in front of stakeholders.
