As a Tier One Customer Service Representative, you will handle incoming calls, utilize chat services, and make outbound calls as needed to assist customers with common inquiries, provide comprehensive information, process applications, and resolve any issues that may arise with customer accounts efficiently and accurately. Our representatives are expected to practice active listening, demonstrate empathy, and communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Upon successful completion of training, you will be equipped to perform the following tasks:
  • Use standard technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers.
  • Access pre-scripted responses to deliver essential information accurately.
Adhere to established policies and procedures, including documentation of calls and compliance with ethical and privacy standards.
  • Assist customers in completing their applications and submitting them electronically.
  • Maintain call logs and document relevant details for each inquiry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 6 months of experience in customer service, administrative roles, or telemarketing.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Typing speed of at least 20 WPM.
  • Familiarity with personal computers and the Windows operating system.
  • Ability to meet key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Capacity to multitask and remain organized.
  • Availability to work holidays and potential overtime.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proficient in navigating various systems and browsers.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of contact center technology.
  • Strong typing skills with a minimum of twenty words per minute.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong command of the English language and grammar.
  • Exceptional communication etiquette.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service on every call, ensuring a personalized experience and providing accurate information and assistance.
Note: All assessments must be completed on a computer.

Employees are expected to adhere to their assigned work schedules and comply with attendance and punctuality standards.

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
