Position Summary:
As a pivotal role within our organization, the Chief Operations Executive will oversee the comprehensive operations of our healthcare facilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients with chronic and complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the healthcare facility, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Implement and uphold organization-wide policies and procedures that support the achievement of operational goals.
  • Ensure that nursing and clinical departments meet established standards of performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Direct the organization of nursing and clinical departments, adhering to administrative guidelines and legal standards.
  • Establish and enforce the Standards of Nursing Practice across all clinical operations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, encouraging staff to identify and address safety concerns proactively.
  • Oversee all aspects of hospital operations, including clinical, ancillary, and support services.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to direct strategic planning initiatives.
  • Develop and communicate operational policies and procedures to department managers.
  • Maintain a system for verifying the qualifications and competencies of nursing staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and represent nursing services in various committees.
  • Manage the hospital budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Respond to community healthcare needs by evaluating service adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Conduct responsibilities in accordance with the organization's Code of Conduct and compliance standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment and high employee morale through effective leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, maintaining readiness for inspections.
  • Act as the Privacy Officer, implementing necessary policies and addressing patient privacy concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Licenses/Certification: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years in healthcare administration, with at least two years in senior nursing management within a hospital environment. Previous experience in a COO or CEO role is advantageous.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $125,673 - $188,489 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
