Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at GPAC. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue through outside sales and business development, with a focus on drayage sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Partner with operations and account management teams to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and retention
- Lead the proposal process, from development to submission, to secure new business and expand existing relationships
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying and addressing their needs to drive long-term growth and loyalty
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or logistics
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics, with a proven track record of success in selling drayage services
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Local to the LAX market, with a strong understanding of the local logistics industry
- High energy and a passion for prospecting and building relationships
- Competitive nature, with a strong desire to succeed and drive results
- Self-starter with strong organization and presentation skills
