Position Summary

The Area Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective execution of all tasks within their designated areas. Daily responsibilities will typically involve a blend of 30% administrative duties and 70% fieldwork. This position entails meticulous record-keeping, scheduling, billing, quality assurance, safety inspections, and the management of fleet and equipment maintenance. A significant amount of travel between job sites is expected. Occasionally, the Area Operations Coordinator may need to collaborate with crew members for training or assistance, which may involve hands-on tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure timely dispatch of teams with the appropriate equipment, conduct on-site inspections, address any inquiries from field teams, and lead area personnel in delivering services that meet high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Uphold and promote company standards regarding safety, environmental regulations, asset management, and operational procedures.
  • Operational Efficiency: Strive to complete 100% of assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction, manage daily communications, and ensure all purchase orders are processed before job reconciliation.
  • Scheduling and Billing: Finalize and confirm weekly schedules by Sunday, reconcile previous day’s work immediately after dispatch, and ensure all billing is completed by Tuesday noon.
Regular Duties
  • Assist the Operations Manager with HR-related tasks such as hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee all area employees, including onboarding and daily operations.
  • Address operational challenges in the field, including equipment failures or safety incidents.
  • Ensure the maintenance and readiness of all assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Resolve customer complaints and respond to urgent service requests.
  • Facilitate monthly safety meetings and participate in employee evaluations.
  • Provide a company cell phone and credit card for work-related expenses.
