Daily Responsibilities:

In your role as an Account Executive on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you will be tasked with managing the service and retention of our middle to large market group benefit accounts. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the renewal process and maintaining regular communication with clients. You will support Producers by gathering essential information for new and renewing groups to submit to the marketing team, manage implementations, intake forms, and review benefits. Staying organized and ensuring that clients' electronic files are current in our document management system will be crucial.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and prospects regarding Employee Health & Benefits coverage options.
  • Provide service to assigned clients and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the Producer/Benefit Consultant to gather necessary information for new and renewal accounts and submit this to the Marketing Department.
  • Work closely with the Producer/Benefit Consultant to prepare a comprehensive submission for clients.
  • Assist the Marketing Analyst in the processes for renewal and new business marketing.
  • Coordinate workflows with the Producer/Benefit Consultant and the Department Manager.
  • Oversee implementation, enrollment, and communication processes.
  • Conduct periodic service calls in line with Service Standards.
  • Utilize stewardship and timeline templates to ensure quality service to accounts.
  • Stay informed about new developments and legislation in the Group Benefits sector.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Collaborate with the Producer/Benefit Consultant on additional tasks such as the Stewardship Review Process, Service Timelines, Benefit Audits, and compliance with legislative and HIPAA regulations.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Familiarity with Benefit Point, ImageRight, Employee Navigator, and Zywave.
  • A college degree is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An active 2-15 license is desirable.
