JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Position Overview:
The Pharmacy Clinical Operations Manager is tasked with the development, execution, and oversight of clinical pharmacy initiatives. This encompasses formulary oversight, policy formulation, and educational outreach throughout the healthcare continuum. The Clinical Operations Manager will also provide support in pharmacy management during the absence of the Pharmacy Director or their delegate.

- B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy is required.
- Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Clinical/Operations Specialist is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy is essential, preferably in the relevant specialty.
- Completion of a hospital PGY2/pharmacy specialty residency or fellowship is preferred.
- Specialty BCPS or BCCCP or PCIDP Certification is required.
- Additional certifications (e.g., FCCP, FASHP) are preferred.
- Experience in Hospital Pharmacy Management is preferred.
- ACLS certification is mandatory.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy is required.
- Active Pharmacy Consultant license, or equivalent as per State requirements for a Pharmacy, must be obtained within the first year of employment.
