Your Contribution

The Receivables Management Specialist will be instrumental in optimizing our accounts receivable (AR) processes across numerous locations nationwide. This role entails collaborating with location administrators and General Managers to address AR challenges, ensuring prompt collections, and advising on account prioritization. The specialist will be tasked with following up with locations that are lagging in progress, providing targeted assistance, and implementing best practices to enhance overall AR performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with location administrators and General Managers to create and execute effective collection strategies.
  • Examine AR data to uncover trends and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on which accounts to prioritize for maximizing collections.
  • Continuously monitor the progress of locations in achieving their collection goals.
  • Engage with locations that are not meeting expectations, identifying obstacles and proposing solutions.
  • Ensure accountability by tracking performance metrics and reporting to the AR Manager.
  • Provide specialized support and formulate action plans for locations facing significant AR difficulties.
  • Develop and distribute updated collection scripts, templates, and other resources.
  • Create specific performance metrics for General Managers related to the support and success of collection efforts in their locations.
  • Collaborate with the AR Manager to refine reporting tools and enhance support capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategizing and executing collection processes and improvements.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with AR software.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
