Daily Responsibilities.

In your role as an Account Executive on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you will oversee the service and retention of our middle to large market group benefit accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing the renewal process and maintaining regular communication with clients. You will support Producers in collecting necessary information for new and renewing groups to present to the marketing team, as well as handle implementations, intake forms, and benefit reviews. Keeping your workflows organized and ensuring that clients' electronic files are updated in our document management system will be essential.

Ideal Candidate Profile.

We are eager to connect with you if your professional experience includes the following qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients, carriers, and prospects regarding Employee Health & Benefits coverage.
  • Ability to service assigned clients and prospective clients effectively.
  • Support the Producer/Benefit Consultant in gathering essential information for new and renewal accounts and submitting this data to the Marketing Department.
  • Collaborate closely with the Producer/Benefit Consultant to create comprehensive submissions for clients.
  • Assist the Marketing Analyst in both renewal and new business marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate workflows with the Producer/Benefit Consultant and Department Manager.
  • Direct implementation, enrollment, and communication processes.
  • Conduct periodic service calls in line with established Service Standards.
  • Utilize stewardship and timeline templates to ensure quality service delivery to accounts.
  • Stay informed about new developments and legislation in the Group Benefits sector.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Collaborate with the Producer/Benefit Consultant on additional tasks such as the Stewardship Review Process, Service Timelines, Benefit Audits, and compliance with legislative and HIPAA regulations.

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous, but not mandatory to apply:

  • Familiarity with Benefit Point, ImageRight, Employee Navigator, and Zywave.
  • A college degree is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An active 2-15 license is desirable.
