Key Responsibilities- Produce welds that meet or exceed quality standards and specifications
- Read, interpret, and act on blueprints and schematics to layout parts on weld tables
- Operate precision measuring equipment to conduct first article inspections
- Work with a variety of metals and apply appropriate welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore
- 2+ years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to wear protective gear, including shirts, vests, and gloves
The majority of the work shift will require standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines, and checking procedures. Climbing into or onto machines may be required to evaluate parts or fixturing. The job requires moving material and parts, and lifting devices should be used when possible.
Safety-Sensitive DesignationThis position is safety-sensitive due to the handling of hazardous materials, operation of equipment, and maintenance of critical services and infrastructure.
