The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional administrative support to the assigned leadership teams. This includes coordinating special projects, arranging conferences, preparing presentations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Executive staff member in all related administrative tasks, including correspondence, presentations, meeting agendas, and external mailings.
- Be the central contact for the Salt Lake City site and handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Provide calendar, meeting, and conference management, as well as coordinate travel arrangements.
- Process monthly corporate card and cash expenses, and support with general office administration.
- Train or support others on technology, tools, or systems used in their everyday working practices.
- Support key projects/initiatives roll outs within assigned function, and input departmental invoices and manage budget inquiries.
- Assist with job candidate interview scheduling, enter temporary support requests, and run reports in excel, access, business objects, and other data gathering programs.
- Input and update data into Oracle databases, and provide tactical support to a function or P&L by answering questions on support central sites and internal processes.
- High school diploma, GED, or local equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of executive administrative experience working in a corporate environment at a senior level.
- Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with senior management and high-profile clients.
- Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to draft correspondence and create presentations for leadership teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams, and the ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities.
- Intellectually sharp, with the ability to grasp concepts and think/learn quickly.
- Bachelor's degree with at least two years working in administration, office management, or a related field in a corporate or professional business environment.
- Familiarity and working knowledge of relational databases, and knowledge of the GE Internet, Support Central, and other relevant applications.
- Professional approach, good judgment, creative problem solver, and the ability to implement innovative solutions.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
