Position Overview

Verda Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Member Support Specialist - Vietnamese to enhance our team and contribute to our mission of transforming healthcare services. Join us in our commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation as we serve our Medicare members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by educating members, families, providers, and caregivers about benefits and plan options.
  • Clearly articulate benefits and plan details through various communication channels, including in-person, email, and phone.
  • Follow up with members to clarify issues, identify root causes, and provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Escalate complex member concerns to management or relevant departments as necessary.
  • Consistently achieve departmental standards for quality, productivity, and attendance.
Member Engagement

Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries from members, internal staff, and providers regarding benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other related matters, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Take ownership of member issues, focusing on delivering solutions and options to ensure satisfaction.

Enhance member satisfaction by efficiently resolving complaints and inquiries, coordinating with providers and other departments as needed.

Participate in member outreach initiatives as directed by management to support overall membership retention goals.

Compliance and Documentation

Adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations applicable to operations, as outlined in company policies.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Document all interactions accurately by completing necessary member forms and summarizing actions taken in the appropriate systems.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Vietnamese is essential.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with Medicare benefits, particularly Medicare Advantage Plans, is preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Job Type

Full-time with weekend rotation (schedule to be determined).
