Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and effectively to inbound inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, and claims processing. The specialist will strive for first-call resolution by identifying issues and proposing solutions, submitting adjustment requests when necessary, and tracking trends for managerial reporting.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of claims systems and accurately input required information into the designated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, following all departmental and organizational protocols.
- Exhibit professional behavior and exceptional interpersonal skills in all interactions.
- Foster a cooperative and productive working environment, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate self-control and engage in non-confrontational communication.
- Contribute actively to departmental goals as outlined in the annual business plan, including specific process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- A High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
- At least one year of experience in healthcare insurance, managed care, or a related field.
- A minimum of six months of medical experience, preferably in a front office setting.
- One year of customer service experience, either in a call center or face-to-face environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills are essential.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required)
- Remote work option available after initial training period
- Compensation: $17.50 per hour
