Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at RPG. This is a rewarding career opportunity for an accomplished financial professional to oversee critical financial functions and provide timely, meaningful, and comprehensive financial reports and analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the precise processing and meticulous control of all financial transactions, including general accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and treasury.
  • Direct the accounting and payroll staff and systems to ensure smooth operations, including inventory and cost accounting functions.
  • Oversee reconciling key accounts monthly and coordinating the preparation of year-end audit information, including managing accounts payable and ensuring vendor disbursements are made according to management criteria.
  • Manage the payroll function to ensure efficient and accurate wage payments to employees, including working with UKG payroll software to file payroll-related reports compliant with government regulations.
  • Supervise the treasury function to ensure accurate and timely control of cash, checks, and ACH payments, and communicate with all levels of management to assist and answer questions regarding accounting information, analysis, reports, or procedures.
  • Provide training, employee development, and ensure effective utilization of all employees, and participate in new system selections and implement new systems that impact the Accounting and General Ledger.
  • Handle special projects and analysis as required by the VP of Finance and Treasure and Executive Team.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of five years of accounting experience, including financial statement presentation, financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting controls.
  • A minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with an active/inactive CPA is required.
  • Three years of supervisory experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller, including oversight of Accounts Payable and payroll supervision experience with a large employee base.
