SUMMARY:

ENGIE Impact is seeking a dedicated Client Relationship Manager to serve as the primary trusted advisor for our clients in the realm of Carbon & Data Management. This role involves providing comprehensive portfolio and project management support while acting as a subject matter expert. The successful candidate will deliver both strategic and tactical account support, ensuring strong relationship ownership and serving as the escalation point for billing, reporting, and service-related inquiries within the broader business partnership between ENGIE Impact and its clients.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Carbon & Data Management products and services, addressing complex operational needs of clients with innovative solutions and critical thinking.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the retention of medium to large national multi-site firms, focusing on energy or sustainability program expenditures and revenue potential for ENGIE Impact's services.
  • Facilitate and develop client Strategic Partnership Reviews, collaborating with internal teams to provide valuable insights that communicate the benefits of ENGIE Impact's services.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex client needs, leading issue resolution efforts across functions and ensuring timely diagnosis and documentation of all issues until resolved.
  • Engage regularly with operations teams to address ad hoc inquiries, maintain client operating plans, ensure adherence to quality control processes, and evaluate client engagement levels.
  • Utilize cross-functional teams to meet service objectives and position clients for growth opportunities.
  • Involve ENGIE Impact leadership teams as necessary regarding potential risks to client relationships and revenue.
  • Collaborate with ENGIE Impact delivery teams to offer proactive insights aligned with client business needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the client experience with Carbon & Data Management offerings, partnering with internal departments as needed.
  • Independently define and manage projects to fulfill client or internal requirements, establishing project objectives, success criteria, scope, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with clients.
  • Support client engagement during onboarding and implementation of new services, providing a clear vision for client goals and necessary assistance.
  • Lead and coordinate ISC meetings.
  • Develop and present regular Client Performance Reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce.
  • Create and manage Risk Mitigation Plans.
  • Stay informed about industry trends through participation in relevant events, training programs, and ongoing market research.
  • Lead contract renewal processes with clients, collaborating with internal teams to provide necessary documentation.
  • Log sales opportunities in Salesforce, passing them to the growth team for follow-up.
Education/Certification/Knowledge:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience:
  • Over 3 years of account management experience handling complex portfolios.
Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel, adapting to various audiences.
  • Professional and collaborative interpersonal skills.
  • Strong client management abilities, capable of generating and presenting strategic solutions for C-Suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • Solid business acumen.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain effective relationships with existing customers, including issue resolution and escalation.
  • Ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Exhibit forward-thinking and innovation.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Internet applications.
  • Anticipate client needs effectively.
  • Represent the company professionally in all communications.
  • Ability to learn ENGIE Impact's full suite of services within six months.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and activities for clients.

  • Flexibility with schedule and availability for extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to review and comprehend client contracts to ensure service delivery.

Work Environment:
  • Work schedules are determined by business needs and managerial discretion; full-time employment is typically 40 hours per week.

REQUIRED PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and move between areas of the building regularly, while sitting and using a computer for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for operating a computer keyboard and handling documents.
  • Adequate hearing and verbal skills for effective communication in person, by phone, and via video calls.
  • Near vision acuity for reading information on computer screens and printed materials.
  • Ability to lift and carry documents weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • Flexibility to alternate between sitting and standing as needed.
  • Ability to enter text or data into a computer using a traditional keyboard.
  • Ability to hear and understand speech and sounds in various forms.
  • Clarity of vision for working with small objects or reading small print, including computer use.

The pay range for this role is: $73,000-$110,000.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off, and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
