Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Communications will be an integral part of the Marketing and Communications Team, focusing on shaping and executing the organization's communication strategies, particularly in the realm of Internal Communications. This role involves:

  • Collaborating with various Business Units to create and implement comprehensive communication plans that effectively engage team members.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong, trust-based relationships with the Marketing & Communications team, Human Resources, Operations partners, and executive leadership.
  • Identifying and employing the most suitable tactics aligned with communication objectives and selecting effective channels to reach employees.
  • Working alongside leaders and team members to plan and execute town halls and webinars, providing support with agendas, talking points, presentations, and logistical arrangements.
  • Equipping people leaders with the necessary tools and resources for effective team communication.
  • Implementing thoughtful enhancements to communication processes.
  • Assessing the impact of communication initiatives through quantitative and qualitative metrics to optimize effectiveness.
  • Offering support in Talent Acquisition efforts to engage and retain prospective talent.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications.
  • At least 5 years of experience in people management.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft strategic communications that inspire action.
  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.
  • Experience managing a company Intranet is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and foster effective relationships across diverse teams.
  • Capability to quickly grasp complex subjects and articulate them clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone, demonstrating high professionalism.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with video and webinar communication platforms (Zoom, Kaltura, Teams, GoToWebinar, etc.).
  • Proficient in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.) and video production.

Compensation: USD $115,000.00/Yr. to USD $130,000.00/Yr.
